Leak of the Week #4: Side Projects & My Workflow

 Hi there! Welcome to the Fourth Leak of the week, The thingy where I write these EXCLUSIVELY in the Evening where my Logical sense Disintegrates! 


Anyways, as you may not know i have 2 Other side projects, and In this one I'll be talking about...

Blue Portals Mari0 Pack

The Blue portals mari0 Pack I've been working on is a 2-D Mari0 Revamp of Blue portals, That you can play in 

Mari0: Alesan99's Entities.

Unfortunately it doesn't include magnets, But instead Re-Adding elements from BP2, like the... uhh...


Oil

The oil is a Recolored and Redrawn version of the Propulsion Gel, Much As it was in Blue Portals 2, 


a Blackened greasy slippery goopy version of the Propulsion Gel.







Funnel


The funnel is Not too changed from Its original Mario: AE counterpart, only Reskinned to appear like Funnels created in Old portal mods before Portal 2's Release because I personally like that style more.








Faith Plate


There's nothing Much I changed Here. I only added the Sound of it Firing and Reskinned it to look like the Faith plates shown in the Portal 2 E3 trailers.









And yeah that's pretty much it for BPMP. Have a good one!

Leak Of The Week #3: All Over AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning! In this leak O' The Week, I talk about Restarting Development of P:SH, Starting off with Revamping all of the old maps.


Now, You may be asking "But what about the maps you've already made with the purple and the vom color!?" And I want to answer that by saying sShhHHHH BE QUIET, because I just felt drained when working on them, feeling like it was too Lego Dimensions-y for the Original Portal.

Carrying on from that, I'm making the old neon maps that i made, Public. This means that you can download the vmfs because honestly I'm not bothered by that. After all, this is called Leak of the week! 

All Cut, Scrapped or otherwise unused stuff will go into the Github Repository. Enjoy! 

(Be warned though that some Maps may require Factum Solus Particles.)

So, Where were we?

Ah, Yes! The revamped maps!

So, In the old wakeup map, The player would've been given the Dual portal device almost Instantly, But in the revamp that's not the Case. 

In the revamp, The player has to go through a Couple of chambers Without a Portal Gun, Making use of the Auto-portals as best they can, before they reach a room with a Blue-Exclusive Portal Gun in it. 

Now, of course, I have only made the Relaxation chamber room at the moment, But i will accept Designs for rooms!

Happy Leap Day!

 Not very important to the Game, but I just wanted to point out the fact that it is 29th February!

I Mean, Come on! How can it not be Special? It only happens once every four years!

Concepts For Testing Elements...

 I've been thinking about what on earth my Mod will have to Stand out from the rest, And I've come up with a few Testing Elements to help with that.


1 - the "Aperture Science Preeminent Funnel"

Some of you may recognise this name from Fearlezzdesign's Beta builds of "Factum Solus: Episode 2" And that is Correct. Hell, I'm even using the Particles that He Forgot To Delete from Factum solus! But, However. It is a Bit weird in the fact that It turns off collision when you're riding it. Not very useful when you're trying to get from one place to another! I think it might be the  Combination of trigger_push and trigger_vphysics_motion that Mucks it up.

2 - the "Aperture Science Gravitational Defiance Apparatus"


This testing Element is Inspired by the Anti-Gravity rooms in Portal Unity, and the Mind-Bending Gravity Fields in Portal Prelude. When the Device is turned on, Signified by a golden Glow, The ASGDA will significantly Weaken the Gravity in the Room, or change it in a Different Direction.


3 - The "Aperture Science 20.1 Kilowatt Turbine Fan"

The Turbine fan will Provide Extraordinary Wind power to whatever is in front of it.

Drop a cube in there and ...

Leak of The Week #1.5: Character Confirmaton

 Okay, This is a very, very small one, But an Important one none-the-less.

I Have finally come up with Names for the Characters!


Sebastian is voicing this Chum named John Callore

Dante is Voicing a Jerk named Michael Dowenger
